The basis and curriculum for our Muay Thai / Kickboxing program is created directly by Legendary Master Duke Roufus who is the founder of Roufusport Mixed Martial Arts Academy. Roufusport’s Kickboxing program is known around the world as one of the premier Striking systems available. Our method/training system is the exact system used at Roufusport HQ where not only do 500+ regular students participate in, but among them are some of the most elite fighters today.
The Roufus name is renown in the world of striking and combat sports as Duke Roufus is a 4-Time World Champion in Kickboxing, coach of numerous champions in combat sports, and has done broadcasting for the world’s premier striking organizations such as K-1 & GLORY Kickboxing.
Beginners are highly encouraged, there is absolutely no pressure to ever spar or fight, it is totally your choice. If you do decide to spar, it will always be done in a highly safe environment with an instructor present. The Roufusport method is designed for the true Beginner student, use of proper technique is always emphasized at Resurgence MMA. New students should expect to have fun while getting a great workout in and learning the most effective striking techniques in the world.
Our muay thai and kickboxing classes are tailored towards everyone whether you want to be an MMA fighter, kickboxer, learn self defense, or just come get a great workout in that burns TONS of calories and have fun while doing it!
